Would I be crazy to convert all of my savings to a foreign currency and move it to a foreign account?
Hear me out. Not any forex-type thing (still not sure what they do), but the economy and politics right now is leaving me on edge To the point where I am looking at grad schools abroad. I don’t feel like with whoever wins the November, I’ll be safe, and that there will be political unrest regardless. There are different types of technical analysis and I’m totally new to this field. I haven’t been in any market before. I want to learn how to do different types of technical analysis. Do you think a course teaching technical analysis for Forex would be useful for charts in Crypto market?
[Advice] Getting sum of money to fill ROTH, how should I invest it?
Hello, I am getting a sum of money, enough to fill my roth and extra. I was going to use that to fill up my roth since I do not hit the max annually. On to the question of how to invest it, I've read a couple articles about cost averaging/bulk investing/timing market etc. With everyone saying the market is going to tank, I was thinking if I should still just max out my Roth right now or should I split it out over the next 3 months? I'm also not sure what I should put my money into, should I put all of it into SNP500 or VFINX or split it half way etc? I've been told that BRKB is also going to out perform SNP500. For the remainder, I was going to increase my 401K contributions as high as possible while living off the balance. Tldr: Going to put money into ROTH, when to do it & what to put it in? Edit: I'm 25 so I can afford very high risk investing but not like options/forex type
